Why Tommy Tsunami Surf Camp

Offered as a half-day week-long camp, surfers will learn to surf with a group of instructors that are Mavericks surfers, lifeguards, and teachers. These diverse backgrounds ensure a safe & unforgettable experience. 

Surfers will learn about ocean currents and water safety which builds a solid foundation of knowledge and respect for the ocean as well as a boost in personal confidence and self esteem.

My son joined the Tommy summer camp for a week in July with two friends. I stayed and watched most days. My son enjoyed the week a great deal. There were many coaches in the water at all times, the coaches built nice relationships and did a lot of teaching with the campers.
