The meeting spot is the parking lot across the street of 531 Obispo Road, El Granada CA 94018 (dirt parking lot with a skate ramp). The beach is called Surfer’s Beach so you can use that for directions as well. 

Please come 15 minutes before your surf lesson starts. There can be a lot of traffic on the weekends so please leave early. 

Come already wearing your swimsuit and bring a towel, sunglasses, hat, and a change of clothing. We recommend sunscreen of SPF 50. You will want to stay hydrated at the beach so water and drinks are a must.

You need to be able to swim with your head above water and must be able to swim to shore. Smaller kids and weak swimmers will be kept in shallow waters and our instructors are always with the students at all times!

If you wear disposable ones you will be okay. Otherwise, you can wear an old pair and close your eyes tightly when underwater. You may also want to use swim goggles.

We suggest booking at least a day in advance for lessons. We can sometimes accommodate the same day but are regularly booked up. 

You can pay for the lesson by card via square with a 3% fee or cash. 

Unfortunately no. We need the gear for other lessons. If you really want to surf after you can rent gear from Mavericks Surf Shop, Cowboy Surf Shop , or Half Moon Bay Board Shop.

Cancellations for all lessons need to be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. Participants who cancel their lesson after this deadline will be charged a fee of $40 per person.
