Give your child the excitement and adventure of the ocean as they learn to surf with Tommy Tsunami Surf Camp!

Offered as a half day week-long camp, surfers will:

  • Learn to surf, boogie board, and bodysurf
  • Gain knowledge of the fundamentals of surfing
  • Learn about ocean currents and water safety
  • Gain confidence and self esteem by learning to respect the power of the ocean.

We guarantee safety and personalized instruction with small class sizes, and 4:1 surfer to instructor ratios (the best in the industry). The results will be amazing, as you cheer on your child riding the waves of Half Moon Bay.

2020 Session Information

Session 1: June 8th – June 12th 

Session 2: June 15th – 19th 

Session 3: July 27th – 31st 

Session 4: August 3rd – 7th 

  • All sessions will be held at Surfer’s Beach in Half Moon Bay 
  • 9am – 12pm
  • Monday – Friday 
  • Ages 5+ (Must be able to swim with your head above water)
  • 4:1 student to instructor ratio


No wetsuits are included in the price. That being said, you are more than welcome to bring your own wetsuit if you have it. 

Students should bring a towel, snacks, water, and sunscreen. 

Drop off is on Surfer’s Beach. You will see an orange Tommy Tsunami tent.
