We have a 3:1 surfer to surf instructor ratio and don’t exceed 10 participants in the surfing class (the best in the industry).

Most frequent questions and answers

WHERE IS THE LESSON HELD?

All lessons are held at Surfer’s Beach in Half Moon Bay. It’s the best “learn to surf” beach in the bay area with friendly waves.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

We provide the wetsuit and surfboard so please come already wearing your swimsuit and bring a towel, sunglasses, hat, and a change of clothing. We recommend sunscreen of SPF 50. You will want to stay hydrated at the beach so water and drinks are a must.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please come 20 minutes before your surf lesson starts. There can be a lot of traffic on the weekends so please leave early as we have a schedule for other lessons and can’t go over time.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

All lessons must be canceled more than 24 hours prior to the lesson. If not you will be charged a $60 late fee per participant.

WHAT IS YOUR NO-SHOW POLICY?

No-show’s are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

A “no-show” is defined as missing a lesson without notice by the lesson start time.
